About Dinkwe Safaris
A family-run safari outfitter in Limpopo, South Africa, welcoming guests from abroad since 1997.

We Do Not Pretend. We Show Who We Are.
Dinkwe Safaris began in 1997, when Japie and Michelle Jonker hosted their first international guests. It has been a family business ever since. Today we are a team of 45, based on Farm Diepkloof near Groblersdal in Limpopo, with more hunting concessions in Mpumalanga and the Free State.
What you see here is what you get. We look after people, we share what we know, and we tell you the truth about what a trip will cost and what it can and cannot promise. Most of our guests first meet us at a hunting show in the US. Many arrive as strangers, leave as friends, and come back.

We hunt, we guide and we host because we love this country and its wildlife, and we want the next generation to love it too.

Our Mission
To hunt with integrity, trust and ethics, and to play our part in looking after South Africa's wildlife and the future of responsible hunting.
Our Vision
That our children and grandchildren, and yours, grow up valuing the bush, its wildlife and conservation.
Our Promise
Honest answers, the full cost before you book, warm family hospitality and our full attention from your first message to the airport drop-off.
“within mere days of arrival it felt more like we were visiting extended family at Dinkwe than being on vacation.”

One of Us Stays With You
From the moment we meet you at the airport until we drop you back there, one of our team is with you.
Personally Guided
Your safari is planned around you. There may be one or two other couples at the lodge, and your days are still your own.
The Cost Up Front
Daily rates, trophy fees and what is not included are all on this website. We confirm your figure in writing before you book.
No Pressure to Shoot
Your professional hunter will tell you when an animal is too young or the shot is not right, even when that costs us a trophy fee.
Quick Answers
Most of the time we reply straight away, and otherwise within a couple of hours. You will also know exactly who you are talking to.
Our Best, Every Day
No record book trophies are ever guaranteed by us. We do guarantee to do our best every day.
